I had an excellent experience with Ranga as a solo travler in Sri Lanka. He was extremely knowledgeable about the history and local culture, very friendly, trustworthy, and always willing to help. A wonderful trip to Sri Lanka
We had an amazing time in Sri Lanka with Ranga. He was an incredibly knowledgeable and caring guide who always went the extra mile to ensure we had a great time and that we were able to see everything we wanted. His knowledge of the local birds and animals was amazing and we were constantly surprised when he would stop the car and point something out - we wouldn’t have seen a fraction of the wildlife without him. Itinerary in Sri Lanka
We traveled in 2021 right after covid and it was amazing 🤩 we had a perfect itinerary around Sri Lanka with Ranga and he made it really memorable 😊🙏 even if we wanted to make some little last minute changes he was very flexible, showed us amazing local restaurants and always remembered to stop for our favourite coconut 🥥😍 very knowledgeable and organised, always on time, everything was very smooth thanks to him. 😊🙏

I'm very grateful to Rango for a fantastic tour of Sri Lanka! Personalized service, a comprehensive program, and comfortable and pleasant communication. My husband and I traveled throughout Sri Lanka in Rango's car. All our requests regarding the route were taken into account. I truly believe this was my best trip. We immersed ourselves in local life and the country's history, seeing all the island's beauty. Lanka n Ranga
This is now our 3rd trip with Ranga. We first visited this stunning island 10 years ago, taking in the southern part of the island. We enjoyed it that much, we made a promise to ourselves that we would be back! This island gives you such a feel good factor … it’s individuality is overwhelming! Two years ago we contacted Ranga to create a tour to the northern point of the island, again so many things to see and do, it’s so different to that of the south of the island. It was during this wonderful trip that we came upon the Pekoe Trail. Ranga came up with an itinerary to suit our wishes and capabilities and he certainly didn’t disappoint us, taking us on 9 stages of this stunning walk, through ancient woodlands, cloud forest, to the glorious tea plantations, with its huge numbers of tea pickers and its processing factories. This is such a giving island, full of wonderful animals, birds and cultural opportunities, that Lanka just keeps giving! Its diversity and uniqueness is something else ! We now are planning for March 27 a trip to The Knuckles Mountain Range a UNESCO World Heritage conservation site in central Lanka, Adam’s Peak walk to an elevation of 7359ft, with some white water rafting along the way! Ranga is an amazing driver guide and comes with a good sense of humour, great company to be around and a wealth of knowledge n experience. He’s always asking of your wellbeing and nothing is too much trouble with a kind considerate approach to everything. He’s a keen ornithologist and eager to share his sightings along the way, his love, joy and passion is infectious! From the moment we met Ranga at the airport in Colombo we knew we were going to have the trip of a lifetime. Ranga is a sensitive and accommodating guide; balancing his depth of knowledge and ability to share the culture & history of Sri Lanka with a skill for giving space for us to experience the island in our own way. Wherever we went with Ranga we felt we got the most from our visit, whether it was a visit to a tea shop, a roadside fruit stall or a safari. Thanks to Ranga I still appreciate bird watching in a way that I never would have imagined! Anyone booking a trip to Sri Lanka to Travel with Ranga will find themselves enjoying a unique holiday they won’t forget.
